Rifle Scopes

As promised here it is! For sale for the first time here on AR15 is the scopes I’ve personally been working with for over two years now, the D-760 (6x) and its little brother the D-740 (4x). A while ago I did a side-by-side comparison test between the D-760 and the 6X Raptor. It can be seen here.

For half the weight and half the price of a Rifle Scope, (Raptors are now restricted for LE/Military) the D-760 line of precision NV riflescopes can’t be beat. Standard features of the 760 and 740 include a waterproof, nitrogen-purged housing, Mil-Dot illuminated Red-on-Green reticule, high-grade multi-coated optics, and a low profile heavy-duty Picatinny rail mounting system. I can tell you this is the ONLY NV riflescope in the world that has this user selectable amber or red mil-dot reticule. I have found testing this unit that during long hours behind the scope, the amber reticule causes LESS eye fatigue. The RED DOT SIGHT color selection is located on the power switch and reticule intensity is also standard on these units. With guaranteed zero retention on heavy caliber weapons (including .50 BMG class), these are the systems of choice among Military and Law Enforcement professionals that have finally become available on the commercial market. I have personally demoed these Nightforce Optics to numerous LE and Federal agencies. They are currently in use for clandestine operations in our high desert regions and have also been in use by our troops. I've sold Vortex Optics units to customers right here on our ARFCOM and some awesome reviews can be seen in my Industry Forum.

The tubes of course are Weaver Scopes Select Alpha units and ALL come with ITT data cards. These Select Alpha tubes provide a superior alternative for your hard-earned money. All of these intensifiers offer high performance numbers and, while there are some cosmetic imperfections, they in no way debilitate in their use.

In the pics depicted below, you will see a Rifle Scopes shaded area running vertically. ANY rear-projection reticule riflescopes have a "darker" reticule-plate stripe. This is due to the coating on the etched plate to reflect red/amber light back towards the eye piece. The 4x system will have a more pronounced reticule-plate due to lower magnification and a slightly higher overall brightness. This phenomenon isvirtually undetectable with a Aimpoint Scopes (in opposition to a much more sensitive camera) and in no way impairs the performance. I wish our eyes could see in the dark this well!

As with my other ads, I HIGHLY recommend (ESPECIALLY with these Trijicon magnified optics) that you choose the hand-select tube option. All image intensifiers have some imperfections. The combination of high performance and clean cosmetics is both rare and expensive (look at full mil-spec. tubes). Having co

The shotgun line is cheap. $200 in black, and $220 in Flat Dark Earth. (I have actually heard the rumor that there are special forces using these low buck non illuminated scopes, which is why they're available in FDE to begin Eotechs.)

I haven't gotten to try one, but I'd imagine the circle plex turkey reticle would be ample for quick shots in day time use. Probably more so than the tons of illuminated Trijicon Night Sights reticle scopes which lack day time capable illumination and have much harder to pick up reticles.

I do 99.99% of my shooting in the day, so illumination that HUNTING SCOPE works at night is essentially useless. Especially when most of the illuminated 1-4X scopes use standard duplex reticles that suck (IMO) for quick shots. If I need to shoot at night that bad, I can either try

Leupold Scopes

and manage with a non illuminated scope, or go the more traditional route, and use a red dot Rifle Scope.
